The mission established by the Louisville Metro Alliance for Youth, the designated Jefferson County Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Council, is:

The Louisville Metro Alliance for Youth will contribute to, and participate in, a system of coordinated prevention initiatives by:

• Assessing community needs on an ongoing basis;
• Promoting the development of programs and resources to address identified needs;
• Supporting the collaboration and partnerships of community initiatives;
• and Monitoring the results of these initiatives.
