Welcome to the Louisville Metro Alliance for Youth

In response to the need for local coordination and planning for juvenile crime prevention, the Jefferson County Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Council was established in December 1998 in partnership with the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice. In September 2003, the Council merged with the Kentuckiana Works Workforce Investment Board's Youth Council to become the Louisville Metro Alliance for Youth.

The membership of the Alliance represents shareholders in the juvenile justice arena, as well as other representatives from the community concerned with the success and safety of our young people.
